Police busts international cricket betting racket

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted an international cricket betting racket with the arrest of two bookies from trans Yamuna area.

Deen Dayal and Mukesh Kumar were arrested yesterday for betting on yesterday's India-England one day match which was played at Ferozshah Kotla stadium here.

Police recovered a recording machine, television set, five mobile phones, betting slips and books during a raid at house from where they were running the racket.

During investigation, they revealed that their clients were from Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida.
