Pilgrims killed, 17 injured in road accident

Sitapur, Mar 29 (UNI) Three devotees were killed and 17 others injured in a jeep-truck collision under Sindhauli area here today.

The victims were returning after performing the 'amavasya snan' ritual at Naimisaranya pilgrim centre in the district.

Three jeep passengers were killed on the spot in the accident which took place this morning near Biswan trisection on Misrikh road.

Of the 17 injured, three were stated to be critical.
