Nationwide raids by CBI in connection with AIIMS paper malpractice
New Delhi, Mar 29: In a nationwide operation the CBI today (Mar 29, 2006) conducted raids at more than 35 places, including two in Delhi, in connection with the reported malpractices in the release of question papers for the recently conducted postgraduate examinations of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
The raids on the residential and official premises of doctors were conducted mostly in southern states, along with Delhi, according to a CBI source.
While two places were searched in Delhi, residences and clinics of three medical professionals were raided conducted in Chennai.
Details are awaited, he added.
