MCA to hold courses for scorers at Thane, Wankhede Stadium

Mumbai, Mar 29 (UNI) A two-week-long course for scorers is being organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) at Thane and at the Wankhede Stadium here.

The course, which will be conducted by the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Scorers of India, will commence from April 8 at Thane and from April 10 at the Wankhede Stadium, a release here today stated.

The course will also include practical training and will conclude with a practical as well as a written test.

The successful candidates will be issued MCA certificates and will go on to the MCA panel of scorers and will be able to score for MCA matches, the release added.

The course at Thane will be held in association with the Dnyansadhana College and Subodh Vaidya will be the overall incharge.

The course at the Wankhede Stadium will have Uday Gharat and Ramesh Parab as the overall in-charges, the release added.
