Illegal liquor factory busted in South Goa, one arrested
Panaji, Mar 29 (UNI) Excise sleuths unearthed an illegal liquor manufacturing factory at Nesai industrial estate in South Goa and seized material worth about Rs 50 lakh today.
One person, identified as Devender Sabsari, was arrested from Margao city for running the factory without valid licence, according to excise commissioner J B Singh.
The authorities, during the raids, found stocked scores of whisky bottles belonging to a Bangalore-based company, 1000 litres of molasses, and empty plastic bottles.
