CPM holds demo in AP city

Vijayawada, Mar 29 (UNI) In response to a call given by the state committee of Communist Party of India (Marxist), hundreds of party volunteers led by City Party Secretary R Raghu and Municipal Corporation Member Ch Baburao laid siege to the Urban Mandal Revenue Office (MRO) here today.

They were demanding among other things, the government's sanction for house site pattas and houses to poor as promised during the elections.

Later, they submitted a memorandum on their demands to the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) and Assistant Civil Supply Officer separately.
