Commission enquires irregularities in Micro-finance companies

Vijayawada, Mar 29(UNI) The One Man Commission headed by senior IAS Officer V P Juahari began inquiry into the irregularities of Micro-finance companies in Krishna District today.

Large number of women submitted representations against the micro-finance companies to Mr Juahari.

Mr Juahari alleged that some companies were charging higher interest rate, violating the Goverenment norms.

He also alleged that a few companies were not issuing receipts to the amount paid.

A report would be submitted to the Government in ten days, he added.
