Bus rams into police check post; constable killed

Hubli, Mar 29 (UNI) A police constable was killed and six others, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were injured when a private luxury bus rammed into a police check post and overturned on the outskirts of the city, today.

Police said the private bus was on its way to Bagalkot from Mangalore when the accident occurred.

While the constable succumbed to injuries in the hospital, the injured were recovering at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences here.
