Bellary records highest max temp of 39.7 deg cel

Bangalore, Mar 29 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by weather office here at 0830 hours today. Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures appreciably rose at most places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka; however fell at many places over South Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka; below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 39.7 degrees celsius and Mysore recorded lowest minimum temperature of 18.2 degrees celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Forecast for Farmers: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 34 degrees celsius and 19 degrees celsius respectively.
