225 dwellings gutted

Sitapur, Mar 29 (UNI) About 225 dwellings were gutted in a major fire incident under Reusa area of the district.

Police today said the flames first engulfed a house at Semrakala village last night and later gutted the entire locality.

At least one person sustained burn injuries in the incident, while several cattlehead perished.

The fire was controlled by fire brigade personnel with the help of villagers.

Meanwhile, senior district officials had rushed to the spot.
