Mother, son killed in love affair case

New Delhi, Mar 28 (UNI) Police today arrested a 55-year-old woman and her neighbour for their involvement in the killing of her daughter's mother-in-law and her younger son in Welcome area of North-East Delhi.

Anisa (45), whose son Ishrat alias Guddu (22) had married main accused Sameen's daughter against her wish, was shot dead along with her son Pappu (18) yesterday after being tied up at their residence by six people, which included the four sons of the main accused, according to sources.

Sameen (55) and her neighbour Naushad (25), the two conspirators, were arrested today after a complaint was lodged by Imran, Anisa's son, who saw the six killers and the two conspirators coming out from his house last night.

While Anisa was shot twice in the temple, her son Pappu was shot once. Anisa's 13-year-old daughter Hina, however, escaped death despite being slashed in the neck by the murderers. She is presently recuperating in G T B Hospital.

Ishrat had a court marriage with Shabnam, whose mother and brothers opposed the step, some time back and was living separately from the family.
