K'taka Governor greets people on Ugadi

Bangalore, Mar 28 (UNI) Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi today greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Ugadi.

In his message here, the Governor said Ugadi festival stood for equanimity, joy and sorrow in life to be taken with equal poise and as a symbolic gesture, people taste sweet and bitter together on the occasion.

He wished the people that the occasion usher in cheer, peace, prosperity and progress.
