YSR pats narang for Commonwealth Games performance

Hyderabad, Mar 27 (UNI)Andhra Pradesh Chief Minnister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today congratulated Gagan Narang, the 22-year-old student from Hyderabad, who won four gold in Melbourne.

In a statement, Dr Reddy said Narang made the state and the country proud with his outstanding performances in the Commonwealth Games.

He hoped Narang would bring many more laurels to the motherland with his unique talent and excellent performances at the national and international levels in the years to come.

Narang won the gold medal in 10-mts Air Rifle individual event, 10 mts Air Rifle Team Event with new games record, 50 mts three position individual event with new games record and a gold in 50 mts three position team event with a new games record in the 18th Commonwealth Games at Melbourne in Australia.
