Woman murdered in lodge

Pondicherry, Mar 27 (UNI) A-25-year old woman was found murdered in a lodge room here last night.

Police said one Sathish Kumar(35) along with the woman, checked in two days ago. However, there was no response from the room, since last evening, and the room was found locked from outside. When the lodge staff opened the room with the duplicate keys, they found the woman lying in a pool of blood, inside the bathroom, with stabs on her stomach and thigh. The ornaments were found intact.

Acting on the information, a police team rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs, to investigate the case.
