Tiwari presents budget for 2006-07 along with Vote of Account.

Dehradun, 27 Mar.(UNI) Uttaranchal Chief Minister N.D. Tiwari today presented a deficit budget of Rs 1,022.73 crore for the year 2006-07 minus any new tax here today .

Along with it he presented vote of Account of Rs 910.45 crore for one month.

Presenting budget for the consecutive fifth year, Mr Tiwari said that for 2006-07 the expected expenditure was pegged to Rs 10,925.46 crore out of which Rs 7,596.24 was of revenue sector and Rs 3,329.22 crore was that of Capital. He said during 2006-07 the expected receipts was pegged at Rs 9,902.73 crore including Rs 7,440.53 crore from revenues and Rs 2,462.20 crore from capital, in which Rs 3,136.70 crore's the Tax revenue share and Rs 1,065.28 crore state's share in Centre tax are included.

The 2006-07 budget alsomade a provision of 3 per cent Dearness Allowances for state employees with effect from January 1,2006.
