Thomas Mathew takes over as LIC Managing Director

New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) Thomas Mathew has taken over as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).

Mathew, a Post-Graduate in Economics, Graduate in Law, Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) and also an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India.

He has held various important assignments in different parts of the country. He was the Zonal Manager of the biggest and prestigious Western Zone of LIC, Chief (Marketing and International Operations), Sr Divisional Manager-in-Charge of three major Divisions and also Divisional Manager (Personnel and Industrial Relations).

Mathew was also a Director on the board of Corporation Bank and is currently on the board of LMW.
