Tandon arrives with team to review poll preparations

Pondicherry, Mar 27 (UNI) Chief Election Commissioner B B Tandon along with Commissioners Navin B Chawla and Gopalasamy arrived here today to review the prepartions for the two phase assembly polls in the union territory on May 3 and 8.

The full-fledged Commission is scheduled to hold meetings with representatives of political parties, election and revenue officals and police officials before leaving for Chennai this evening.

Earlier, Pondicherry Chief Electoral Officer Mr Kumarasamy and other officals received them at 'Rajnivas'.
