Super-speciality kidney hospital in B'lore by June
Bangalore, Mar 27 (UNI) The Karnataka Government will set up a super-speciality kidney hospital in the city by June, Health Minister R Ashok today informed the State Legislative Council.
Replying to a query from K T Shrikanthegowda (JD-S) during question hour, he said the Government had sanctioned Rs 13 crore of the total Rs 15 crore required for the construction of the hospital.
The Minister said dialysis centres were now operating in Bidar, Raichur, Davanagere and Dakshina Kannada districts and the Government was planning to extend the facility to other districts in a phased manner.
