Srinagar-Gulmarg road is open: CEO

Srinagar, Mar 27 (UNI) Gulmarg Development Authority has strongly refuted the news aired on radio stating that Srinagar-Gulmarg road is closed due to snow.

The CEO of the authority expressed surprise over the news and termed it an attempt to mislead tourists visiting the famed tourist spot Gulmarg.

He said the road is open and accommodation is available in plenty.

He appealed to the tourists not to heed such rumours and plan their tours as already arranged.

Hoteliers, shopkeepers and other tourists related establishments at Gulmarg have also expressed surprise at the news and said such rumors will adversely affect their business.
