Qureshi takes over as Minority Commission Chairman

Hyderabad, Mar 27 (UNI) Mr Yousuf Qureshi assumed office as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Commission today.

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President and MP Dr K Keshav Rao, AP Minorities Finance Corporation Chairman Farooq Hussain, Principal Secretary to Government Minorities Welfare Department Mohd Shafeeq Uzzama, were present on the occasion.

The gathering congratulated Mr Qureshi and thanked Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy for his selection and expressed confidence the Commission would strive for the redressal of problems of the minority communities in the state.
