Prosecution files 2,300-page chargesheet

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) The prosecution today filed a 2,300-page chargesheet against underworld don Chhota Rajan's wife Sujata, elder brother Prakash Nikhalje and four others in the MCOCA court for their alleged involvement in an extortion case.

The chargesheet was filed before MCOCA (Maharashtra Control for Organised Crime Act) Judge Ashok Bhangale.

All the six have been charged under sectins 387 (extortion), 120(b)-- conspiracy-- and 34 (common intention) of IPC and sections 3(1), 3(ii), 3(2), 3(3) and 4 of the MCOCA act.

The accused were arrested by Detection Crime Branch (DCB) Unit VI of Mumbai Police for demanding extortion money from a builder at Chembur in North East Mumbai.
