Police mum on Salem's reported aspersions on Manisha Koirala

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) Police in Mumbai today remained tight-lipped about media reports which said underworld don Abu Salem had confessed that Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala had directed the killing of her secretary Ajit Diwan.

Diwan was murdered in the year 2001.

A television channel today reported that Salem, during his lie detector test in Bangalore, had revealed that the actress had herself directed Diwan's elimination.

However, top police officers here were tight-lipped and refused to entertain queries in this regard.
