NDA Legislators leave for Jaipur

Ranchi, Mar 27: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today ruled out any threat to the BJP-led NDA government in the state following the Governor's recommendation for disqualification of four ruling party Legislators to the Election Commission.

Talking to UNI here before leaving for Jaipur along with all but three NDA MLAs, Mr Munda dismissed the threat to the survival of his government and said all the MLAs were united.

He said they would visit some relgious places on the occassion of completion of the state NDA government's anniversary in its second term.

Meanwhile, polictical activities had reached its crescendo in the state over the disqualification issue as Governor Syed Shibtey Razi had forwarded a memoranda to both the ruling NDA and Opposition UPA to disqualify a total of 13 Legislators for holding ''office of profit'' to the Election Commission for consideration.

The NDA MLAs might proceed to Delhi from Jaipur to meet President A P J Abdul Kalam and the NDA leaders to apprise them of the situation, sources said.
