MIAMI, Mar 26 (Reuters) Third seed David Nalbandian fought back to beat Czech Tomas Berdych 6-7 6-1 6-0 and reach the fourth round of the Nasdaq-100 Open today.

The Argentine won his fourth match out of five since returning from one month out with an abdominal injury suffered during the Davis Cup in February.

Nalbandian, who defeated Roger Federer in the final of the Masters Cup last November, improved his record this season to 10-2 after beating Berdych for the second time.

The 20-year-old Czech, who won the Paris Bercy Masters last season and also beat Federer at the Athens Olympics, produced 48 unforced errors and was never a factor after winning the first set in a tiebreaker.

Nalbandian, an Australian Open semi-finalist this year, broke Berdych's serve five times.
