Naik downed by Prasad in keen contest, Santosh prevails over Khan

Panaji, Mar 27 (UNI) In a closely-contested bout today, Chittamber Naik of Goa lost to B Prasad of Jharkhand by 22-24 in the 38th Junior Boxing National championship underway at Calangute in North Goa.

Naik was leading 20-17 till the third round. In the fly weight category, J Singh of Assam Rifles scored a 16-14 win over P Singh of Uttaranchal, while Goa's Santosh Harijan won easily over M Khan of Uttar Pradesh.
