Trustee must develop temples in district: Minister
Kakinda (Andhra Pradesh) Mar 27: Union Minister of State for Home M M Pallamraju yesterday called upon the Trust Board members to develop the temples in the district.
Participating in the swearing-in-ceremony of Sri Venugopalaswamy Trust Board as Chief Guest, he said, Kakinada is known as spiritual centre and the Trustee should take steps to safeguard it.
Mr Raju said the Board should come forward to develop the temples in East Godavari district.
Sri Peetam Chief Sri Paripoornanadasaraswati Swamiji, said, Kakinada was pronounced in Sanskrit as Kokanadam and Britishers named it as Kokanada.
He said in the coming years, Kakinada would be developed in all spheres.
