Media debate on conflict resolution

New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) A host of senior media professionals from South Asian countries are meeting here tomorrow for a two-day seminar on the role of the media in conflict resolution.

Najam Sethi, Rahimullah Yusufzai and Tahir Mirza of Pakistan's Friday Times, The News and The Dawn; Iqbal Sobham Choudhary of Bangladesh Observer and Narayan Wagle of Kantipur National Daily would be among the 14 editors and senior journalists attending the seminar, a member of the organising committee said.

The meeting, at the India International Centre, is being organised by the A J Kidwai Mass Communication Research Centre of Jamia Milia Islamia, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Press Institute of India.
