Life imprisoner attacks witness

Mysore, Mar 27 (UNI) A convict serving life imprisonment, today attack a witness who came to court for testing the victim who was abducted last year.

Police said the incident occurred when 17 year-old Priya after disposing before the judge in a case of abduction in February 2005, was returning. Prasanth attacked her with knife in the court premises.

However, police over powered him and produced before the court and a case has been registered against him under attempt to murder.
