Kalam coming to Bihar tomorrow

Patna, Mar 27 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam arrives here tomorrow on a brief visit during which he would address a joint session of the state Legislature.

The only other programme in Dr Kalam's tour to Bihar, the second since the NDA government took over in November, 2005, is a function organised by the Bihar Chamber of Commerce.

Official sources said Dr Kalam would reach here at 1105 hrs by an IAF plane and fly back at 1530 hrs the same day.

IG (Patna Zone) Rajyawardhan Sharma said elaborate security arrangements had been made in view of the President's visit.

Besides deployment of security personnel in adequate strength, sniffer dogs had been pressed into service to ensure foolproof security, he added.
