Gitanjali Gems ties-up with Sanghavi Exports for Sangini brand

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) Gitanjali Gems today announced a tie-up with Sanghavi Exports, under which it will become a 50-50 partner in Spectrum jewellery.

Under the joint venture, the company will manufacture and market the Sangini brand of diamond jewellery, a release issued by Gitanjali Gems here said.

Spectrum Jewellery, earlier a part of the Sanghavi group, had purchased the brand from the Diamond Trading Company (DTC), the sales and marketing arm of De Beers, in January.

''Through this JV we will add yet another valuable brand to the bouquet of brands being offered by us to the Indian consumer,'' Gitanjali Gems chairman Mehul Choksi said.
