GESCOM detects 22 power theft cases

Gulbarga, Mar 27 (UNI) The vigilance squad of the Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (GESCOM) has detected 22 cases of power theft during raids conducted in the last 24 hours and estimated the loss to the company at Rs 1.55 lakh.

Raids were conducted in several villages in Gulbarga, Aland, Jewargi, Chittapur and Chincholi taluks in the district, a GESCOM release here said today.
