Five members of inter-state gang held

Thrissur, Mar 27 (UNI) Kodakara police have arrested five members of an inter-state gang accused in many robbery and other criminal cases.

Police said Starly(30) of Kuttichira, Joshi Das(30) of Mupliyam, Anilan(35) of Mupliyam, Nruparajan(25) of Mattathur and Noorrudin(36) of Oorakam of the district were travelling in a van after planning a robbery.

The arrests were made during the investigation of a theft of Rs 85,000 at a petrol pump in Ollur a few days back.
