Eight arrested for possessing unlicenced pistols

Jamnagar, Mar 27 (UNI) Eight people were arrested from Pir Lakhasar village of Jamkhambhaliya taluka of the district for possessing unlicensed countrymade pistols, police today said.

Several raids were conducted in the village yesterday and eight countrymade pistols were seized.

Those arrested under the Arms Act have been identified as - Ali Osman, Rafiq Ali, Umar Hussain, Jumma Isha, Suleman Hussain, Isha Hassam, Gulmamad and Nazir Ali, police said.
