Blast heavily damages Baghdad building-police

BAGHDAD, Mar 27 (Reuters) Iraqi police officials today said that an an explosion heavily damaged a building in a residential area of the capital and at least one person was killed and eight wounded.

Initial reports indicated a rocket may have slammed into the building in the Za'afaraniya area of Baghdad but confirmed this was not immediately possible. Police said shortly after that, a second rocket hit a nearby house, killing one person and wounding two.
