Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Ananth Kumar today said Congress-led UPA government at the Centre is disintegrating on the issue of 'office of profit' and said there would be fast political developments within a month.

''As UPA disintegrates, NDA will emerge'', observed Mr Ananth Kumar while talking to reporters here.

Left parties, the main supporter of the UPA government, are in a fix on this issue while Samajwadi Party, having a sizeable strength of 40 MPs, has come out openly against the Congress on the same, Mr Kumar said.

He said if the Congress brought a bill on the issue, the BJP would question as to why the budget session of parliament was adjourned sine die.

Claiming that there were no MPs from the BJP holding the 'office of pofit', Mr Kumar suggested that efforts should be made to have a consensus on the issue after talking to the Leader of the Opposition and others.

Mr Kumar said he had filed a petition under article 102 and 103 before President of India demanding disqualification of Ms Sonia Gandhi from the Lok Sabha on March 22. The same had been sent to Election Commission.

''Resignation of Congress President from Lok Sabha and from National Advisory Council was not a sacrifice on moral grounds, but a resignation under compulsion and drama'', the former Union minister said.

Asked to comment on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ideologue M G Vaidya welcoming the resignation of Ms Gandhi, Mr Kumar said Mr Vaidya was no longer the RSS spokesman.
