Bajaj Allianz pumps fresh capital of Rs 132 crore

New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) Private sector life insurance company Bajaj Allianz today announced a fresh capital infusion of Rs 132 crore to further strengthen its position in the private life insurance business and the pan India expansion plan.

The fresh capital infusion will take Bajaj Allianz's total capital base to Rs 500 crore.

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company CEO Sam Ghosh said, ''A growth of over 300 per cent in this financial year has encouraged us to not just maintain consistent growth but to further expand our operations so as to reach to millions of people across the country and provide value based customer focused flexible life insurance products.'' ''Am sure we would be the fastest as well to turn profitable amongst large private sector life insurance companies,'' Mr Ghosh added.
