Bajaj Allianz infuses Rs 132 crore fresh capital

Bangalore, Mar 27 (UNI) Notching up a 300 per cent growth this year, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance today announced that the company will infuse a fresh capital of Rs 132 crore, taking the capital base to Rs 500 crore.

The infusion of fresh capital would further strengthen the private insurer's position in life insurance business and expand pan India, the company said in a release here.

Company CEO Sam Ghosh said the company's performance last year had propelled it to a clear leadership position among private life insurers in the country and this had given the impetus to reach out to millions of people across the country and provide value-based, customer-focused flexible life insurance products.
