Bachchan "fine", busy shooting for films, says close aide

Mumbai, Mar 27 (UNI) Amitabh Bachchan is ''absolutely fine'' and was busy shooting for films as scheduled, sources close to the megastar said here today.

Talking to UNI, the sources denied reports as ''speculative and rumours'', carried in a section of the media, that Mr Bachchan may be required to undergo another surgery and had cancelled his programmes. The rumours spread after he cancelled his visit to Kolkata on Saturday last.

In fact, Mr Bachchan had cancelled his visit due to cough and cold, the sources added.

At present, he was busy with shooting of Ravi Chopra's hindi film 'Babul' and a Bhojpuri film 'Ganga', being produced by the mega star's longtime makeupman Deepak Sawant, at Film City studios here. Bachchan's has a guest appearance in this Bhojpuri film.
