AIADMK to contest from Madurai (Central), Pennagaram: Jaya

Chennai, Mar 27 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has announced that the party would contest Madurai (Central) and Pennagaram seats in the May eight Assembly elections.

The AIADMK, heading the Democratic People's Alliance(DPA), had earlier allotted the seats to the All India Forward Bloc (Santhanam) and the Janata Dal(Secular) respectively.

The AIFB, would instead contest from Chozhavandan, while the JD(S), would contest from Thali, she said in a release last night.
