67 people in TN dist treated for diarrhoea

Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, Mar 27 (UNI) Sixty seven people of Keelathiruppanthuvathi Village, near here, were treated by medical personnel at a primary health centre after they complained of diarrhoea and vomitting yesterday.

Official sources here today said seven persons were admitted to the Thanjavur Medical College Hospital.

Health officials said the illness could have resulted from drinking contaminated water. The authorities were taking steps to clean the water tank in the area.
