3 killed, 4 injured as truck rams into KSRTC bus

Bangalore, Mar 27 (UNI) Three passengers of a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus were killed and four seriously injured when a sand laden-truck rammed into the bus stationed near Kuluenahalli on the Bangalore-Pune national highway today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the bus proceeding to Bangalore from Sindhanur in Raichur district stopped on the way to facilitate passengers to attend to nature's call.

The injured, including the conductor, was admitted to a government hospital at Nelamangala.

Top police officers rushed to the spot to review the situation.

The driver of the truck was absconding.
