Varanasi's religious leaders give a call against terrorism
Varanasi, Mar 26 (UNI) Religious leaders of this blast hit city today gave a call against the menace of terrorism, saying that no religion could condone acts of terror against humanity.
A seminar on terrorism organised at the Jamia Salfia Urdu University, evoked the participation of 12 religious leaders from all faiths including Mufti-e-Banaras Maulana Abdul Batin and Mahant of the blast hit Sankatmochan temple Prof Vir Bhadra Mishra.
At least 16 people were killed and 98 others wounded in twin blasts at the 16th century temple and the Varanasi railway station on March 7.
