State government employees condole Anil Biswas' death

Kolkata, Mar 26 (UNI) Members of the Calcutta Journalists' Club expressed their profound shock at the untimely death of CPI(M) West Bengal State Secretary Anil Biswas here this evening.

In a condolence message CJC General Secretary Nirmalendu Karmakar recalled Mr Biswas' close association with the journalist community not only during his long stint as the editor of ''Ganashakti'' but also as the state party Secretary.

''With his death the journalist community in the city has lost a true friend and the void created with his demise would be very difficult to fulfil,'' the members felt.
