Separatists not to attend varsity seminar

Jammu, Mar 26 (UNI) The separatist leaders of Jammu and Kashmir have declined an invitation to attend the the two-day National Seminar on Building Peace in Jammu and Kashmir being organized by the Jammu University from March 28.

Many prominent personalties including Governor Lt. Gen. S K Sinha, Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad are expected to attend the conference being held at the University campus here.

This time the invitations were also extended to the separatist leaders including from the All parties Hurriyat Conference and other organisations like Shabir Shah's Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, however the leaders from the separatist amalgam would not attend the conference.

Many non-political groups of Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh and some intellectuals are expected at the conclave in Jammu University to give their view point. The Central government will be presented by its key interlocutor on Kashmir N N Vohra.
