The seven MLAs were N Biren, Chairman of Pollution Control Board, K Ranjit, Chairman of Planning and Development Authority, N Loken, Chairman, Loktak Development Agency, A Aza, Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Board, Bijoy Koijam, Chairman of Manitron, K Korunthang, Chairman of Tribal Development Corporation, Y Mani, Chairman of Programme Implementation Committee.

The government has not officially reacted to the matter so far.
