NR to run special trains for Solar Eclipse Mela

New Delhi, Mar 26: For the convenience of the pilgrims of Solar Eclipse Mela at Kurukshetra, Northern Railways has made arrangements to run five pairs of special trains, extend the services of passenger trains, augument existing passenger trains and provide additional stoppage to certain Mail/Express trains enroute.

Three pairs of special trains having 13 coaches will run on March 28 and 29 between Jind and Kurukshetra and Narwana and Kurukshetra and two pairs between Kurukshetra and Panipat on March 29.

Besides, 4KU/3KU Ambala-Kurukshetra MEMU train will be extended to run upto Panipat on March 29 and 1 DP/ 3 PU Delhi-Panipat and Panipat-Ambala passenger trains will be extended to run upto Kurukshetra and Panipat on March 29.

Many passenger trains will be augumented by additional coaches on March 29 while others would be provided additional stoppages.
