Man caught selling Hussain's painting taken into custody

New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) Police took into custody a man from South Delhi's Lajpat Nagar central market when he was trying to sell a painting by the noted artist M F Hussain.

The person, whom the police refused to identify, was taken into custody after it was reported that he was selling a fake M F Hussain painting, according to sources.

During interrogation the man said he was selling the painting, which he had bought from Rajasthan, as he needed money.

Meanwhile, a police team has left for Rajasthan to verify his claims.
