List of DMK candidates to be released in a couple of days

Chennai, Mar 26 (UNI) Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M Karunanidhi today said the list of party candidates for the May 8 Assembly elections would be released in a couple of days.

Talking to reporters soon after chairing the party's election manifesto preparation committee meeting here, he said preparation of the election manifesto of the party was going on and it would be finalised by tomorrow.

Mr Karunanidhi said the list of DMK candidates for contesting the 129 assembly constituencies would be released at a press conference, soon after its finalisation.

To a question, he said he would announce his statewide electioneering campaign schedule during the first week of April.
