JAC urges AP CM to solve their problems

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (UNI) The Delegation of Joint Action Committee (JAC) of employees, teachers and workers today urged the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy to solve their problems.

Dr Reddy agreed to release their dearness allowance, due from July, 2005, as ''Ugadi'' gift.

The JAC also urged the Chief Minister to ensure the enhancement of HRA ceiling. stagnation increments, rationalisation of Master scale, Techinical scale to drivers and change of designation of attenders, among others.

Dr Reddy said his Government would take steps to solve the problems of teachers in due course.
