Four boys drowned in a tank

Mysore, Mar 26 (UNI) Four boys drowned in a tank at Mathikere Village in Mandya district of Karnataka today.

Police said that five boys of Dodagaradehalli in K R Pet taluk had gone for swimming when the mishap occurred. One boy swam to safety.

The victims have been identified as Avenish (14), Deelip (12), Yogesh (11) and Ragavendra (8).

Mandya District Superintendent of Police K V Sridhar visited the spot and search is on to fish out the bodies.
